Today, I modelled some wooden planks and added a vent to my game. The vent will act as the end of the level and checks if the player has the screwdriver, if so then they can escape. The wooden planks check if the player has the axe, if so, then the player can hold down e to chop the planks.
This caused some problems however as every time as plank was removed, the player would stop overlapping with the collision box. I solved this by unticking “generateoverlapevents” on items within the plank class. Now the player has to watch their surroundings as they chop the planks, which takes time.
